Long in the planning and a follow up to "Heading Up North 2021" (https://john78972.wixsite.com/website) Scroll down for video at end.

So after Summer had finally arrived the forecast for our trip began to look really dodgy with all three days saying thundery showers every day. Thankfully this didn't happen and we only got rained on for about 10 minutes in total!

450 miles approximately for most of us, and a bit more for the more metropolitan pair. Great roads, a bit too much traffic in places. The more adventurous amongst us got in the sea, and we rode 180 miles to sample Mr. Stein's Fish & Chips.

Cheddar Gorge - new bike suits you sir.

We were three Triumphs, a Kawasaki and a Yamaha - and mostly well behaved.

We stayed at Acorns Guest House https://www.acorns-guesthouse.co.uk/ which is very biker friendly with off road covered parking (beware the somewhat steep approach), and thanks to Denise and Steve who made us very welcome and recommended where to eat on a Sunday evening when most places are closed!

We also met the friendly neighbour cat.

Breakfasts were great and the overall verdict was that we should have stayed for longer! Sunset on the last night was a bonus.
